Lazy Loading

Lazy Loading is a method of loading more content in a container as soon as the user scrolls to the bottom of it.

When to Use

Use Lazy Loading instead of pagination to help the user retain a sense of place.

Appearance & Behavior

The Lazy Loading animation, which uses the Infinite Loader, lets the user know that additional content is being loaded.

The amount of content loaded each time should be determined on a case-by-case basis, but avoid loading too little content. We don’t want the user to repeatedly see the Lazy Loading animation, resulting in a negative impression about the application’s performance!
